At the very end of his side's 4-3 loss to San Jose Earthquakes - which included him scoring a trademark freekick - Beckham became frustrated with time wasting by the opposing team.
While San Jose player Sam Cronin was lying on the ground in the penalty area, he produced a 30-yard strike that hit him in the legs.
Beckham's strike saw him get booked for the offence, and then started a few angry exchanges between several players.
He was also separated by a large blue furry San Jose mascot, along with other players, while he appeared to be angry over the incident.
The legendary England midfielder was omitted from the Team GB football team for the London Olympics by Stuart Pearce last week.

Fantastic strike! Drop ball, from the sideline, brilliant.
Cronin gets straight back up too, which shows he was feigning injury, and should have been booked himself!

Beckham proved he was fine by the way he jumped straight back up, so the only person looking like a fool is the guy rolling around in the first place.
