Katie Holmes moves out of Tom Cruise home

Katie Holmes has moved out of the home she shared with Tom Cruise.

On Thursday (June 28), the actress was spotted packing her bags to move to a new apartment in New York City with her daughter Suri, according to People.



Holmes filed for divorce from Cruise after five years of marriage earlier this week.

Meanwhile, a source told Us Weekly that the 33-year-old has seemed much happier since the move.

"She's been miserable for a long time, but the last couple of weeks, she's been happy - like she's been set free," the insider said.

Cruise is currently in Iceland shooting Oblivion.
