Cheryl Cole has denied reports that she walked out of a "daft" BBC interview.
The 'Call My Name' singer was said by The Mirror to have left an "odd" Q&A with a BBC Three team at a recent event after they repeatedly asked her "Why are we here?" which she allegedly took to be a dig at her career.
"Cheryl was happy to chat to the BBC, but it was a bit odd," an apparent source said. "They repeated, 'Why are we here?' At that point, it seemed like a dig at her for not being worthy of being on the same bill as The Wanted and Jessie J."
However, Cole has since dismissed the story on Twitter and condemned The Mirror for "telling lies" about her.
"@3am Fyi.. I have never walked out of an interview in my career," she wrote. "I had to be reminded of what your even referring to.. Stop telling lies lol."
