Adele has reportedly confessed in her upcoming biography that she once got so drunk before a gig that she forgot the lyrics to her own songs. The 'Turning Tables' singer is said in the book, which will be released next month, to have developed a "drinking problem" at the beginning of her career after her bisexual boyfriend was unfaithful.

"I got so drunk by the time I went on [for a gig] at 2am I had forgotten the words to my own songs," she is quoted as saying by author Marc Shapiro.
Another passage from the book reads: "Adele would drink more than normal to salve the heartbreak... midway through her first tour, she allegedly had a drinking problem."
Speaking about the 21 star's biography recently, Shapiro insisted that the retelling of her life will be "without overt sensationalism" as she has "remained largely that salt-of-the-earth girl from Tottenham".
Adele claimed previously that she is at her most creative when drunk.

yeah it was reported by the ds,daily fail and sun that she tried to stop it i think and was definatley not giving any information to the author but i guess there backtracking becuase they can get a hell of alot more stories on her personal life from this book so wont mention the fact its not from her .
typical journalism yet again print the stories wether true or false one day i would like it to be against the law for journalists to make up fake stories and for the papers and tv news to report them and for them to stop giving there opinion or spinning the stories to get you on a certain side we deserve atleast one mag, paper or tv news show that gives the truth and facts and nothing else.
