Biographer Marc Shapiro said that the work will tell the story of the star's life "without overt sensationalism".
"Adele has still remained largely that salt-of-the-earth girl from Tottenham," he added.
Adele is notoriously protective of her private life, and despite both her albums (19 and 21) being inspired by past relationships, she is reluctant to reveal the identity of their subjects.
Reports suggest that Shapiro, who has also written a book on Justin Bieber, requested interviews with the 24-year-old, which she declined.

It does grate on me that this allowed to happen. But just to make a distinction - this isn't an autobiography written by Adele; it's a biography written by someone else. Anyone is allowed to write a book about another person so unfortunately Adele (or any other person in the public eye) has the power to prevent these books being published. It isn't the celebrities I blame but the writers and publishers trying to earn a quick living from someone else.

Autobiographies USED to centre around ppl who'd been on the long journey of life; and therefore had a "tale" to tell...... NOT just at the beginning of it!!!!!!
You end up with about sixteen autobiographies off one person, and that's by their twenty four!!!!!!!!! Someone needs to stop this "trend", and quick if you ask me!
