Guy Ritchie and Jacqui Ainsley reveal name of newborn son

Guy Ritchie and Jacqui Ainsley have revealed the name of their newborn baby.

The Sherlock Holmes director and model girlfriend welcomed their son in September, but have chosen now to reveal that his name is Rafael.

Yahoo! News reports via the Sunday Mirror that picking the baby's name was a collaborative effort.

"We thought Raffie Ritchie sounded really cute when shortened. His older brother Rocco helped choose the name - we were throwing ideas out there as a family and it stuck from early on," Ainsley said.

This is Ritchie's first child with Ainsley. He shares custody of 11-year-old son Rocco and adopted son David, 6, with ex-wife Madonna. The pair divorced in 2008.

Ainsley added that baby Rafael "has two great brothers, which is really lovely. I'm the happiest girl in the world and loving motherhood".

It was recently announced that Guy Ritchie's next project will be a remake of Treasure Island.
