Amanda Bynes denies hit and run involvement

Over the weekend, the Easy A star was accused of slamming into a car on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley on April 10. However, she has since insisted that she is innocent.
"I can't help but laugh at all of you writing fake stories about me," Bynes tweeted on Sunday (May 27). "I was not in any hit and runs. I don't drink so the DUI is false."
The actress was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in April. She is due in court on June 6.
Bynes has seemingly been involved in multiple driving incidents since March, including holding up traffic while performing a three-point turn.
The 26-year-old's father spoke out in defence of his daughter last month, insisting that she was not drunk.
She's a very gorgeous woman(my age), and I think she just needs direction. Still very young, but she shouldn't be in the situation in the first place. Hope she goes for the better from now on.
