'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' radio tour starts in June

's classic series The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
is set to embark on a new tour next month.
The legendary original radio series of the comedy sci-fi from Adams will tour across the UK throughout June and July.
The tour kicks off at Glasgow's Theatre Royal on June 8-9, before closing at Edinburgh's Playhouse Theatre on July 21.
The shows will also take in venues at cities including Newcastle, London, Southampton and Manchester.
The 'Voice of the Book' will vary throughout the run, with the likes of Billy Boyd, Phill Jupitus, Hugh Dennis, Andrew Sachs, Terry Jones and Roger McGough taking on the role originally by Peter Jones.
Original cast members Simon Jones, Susan Sheridan, Geoff McGivern, Mark Wing-Davey and others will voice their classic roles, with Dirk Maggs directing.
Simon Jones - who played Arthur Dent in the radio and television series - told BBC Breakfast
: "Back in 2009, Penguin Books were launching And Another Thing...
, the latest sequel, and they decided to have a big gala.
"The climax was to bring back the original cast for the benefit of the people who turned up, and we were astonished to find 2,000 people in their dressing gowns and waving towels above their heads."

Today (May 25) is Towel Day, which is celebrated annually as a tribute by fans to Douglas Adams, who died in 2001.
