While promoting Sunday's Soccer Aid, Williams told The Mirror: "Gary Barlow's sailing straight to a knighthood. You can just tell, can't you?
"Well, at some point people have got to look at this and see what I've done and say, oh yeah.
"He's gonna get it. It'll be Sir Gaz before Sir Robbie. Subconsciously it's a bit of a competition."
Barlow played down the speculation earlier this week, claiming he was "too young" to be knighted.
Williams, 38, recently confirmed that he is expecting a baby girl with wife Ayda Field.

Aw, so sweet. I love Gary and Rob to bits.

This is so annoying, who is the person determined to make Garry Barlow a "national treasure"... It's not like he's making ground breaking legendary music, he's in TAKE THAT and is a boring judge on X Factor...
If Garry Barlow gets a knighthood (which i doubt) I hope the spice girls get a Damehoods because they've done much more for the music industry sales wise etc.

If we're ever going to have "Sir Robbie" it'll probably come just after "Sir Dappy" and "Sir Pete Docherty". Le's hope The Queen isn't that far gone yet..

How can you put Robbie Williams and Dappy in the same league? Robbie Williams has had twenty-two years of hits and success. Dappy, one song and failed pop trio. -.-
