Rihanna misses flight after partying in London

Rihanna missed her flight out of the UK this morning after a night of heavy partying.

The singer was in London to watch friends Jay-Z and Kanye West on their Watch The Throne tour.



She later joined the pair at Dstrkt club to celebrate Jay-Z's manager Tyran Smith's 40th birthday, The Sun reports.

This morning, she wrote on Twitter: "U know life is great when u wake up at 9 am DRUNK!!!!! #London #happybirthdayTYTY #G4L #H0Navy.

"You know it was a good night when u wake up n run to your BFF's room like... How did I get in my bed? Did I walk? Stumble? Get carried?"

She added: "So ummm.... I'm supposed to be on a plane rt now! JayZ saved me!!!!! I got an extra day off.

"That's probably housekeeping in my room right now but I'm just gonna wait til they notice I'm still in my bed and leave #Lazytweet."

Kim Kardashian, her brother Rob Kardashian and his girlfriend Rita Ora were also at the party, along with Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin and Stella McCartney.

Rihanna uploaded a photo of herself hooked up to a drip in New York on May 9, after reportedly being treated for "exhaustion and dehydration".

She later performed at a charity event dressed as an Egyptian queen after recovering from flu.
