Salma Hayek's husband François-Henri Pinault wanted Linda Evangelista to abort their child, the supermodel's lawyer has claimed in a Manhattan court.Evangelista is currently seeking the sum of $46,000 (£28,400) a month in child support. It would apparently be the largest amount ever granted in a New York court.

Evangelista and Pinault have a 5-year-old son, Augie, together from a four-month affair.
She claims Augie's expenses include between $15,000 (£9,275) and $16,000 (£9,890) a month for ex-NYPD detectives to act as chauffeurs, and a 24-hour nanny costing almost $7,000 (£4,300) a month, the New York Post reports.
The model's lawyer William Beslow said yesterday (May 3) in court: "After some initial happiness, he told her he wished she would terminate the pregnancy."
Pinault said in court: "I asked her what was her intention with the pregnancy. I was not involved in the decision of having babies.
"We were dating four months and I didn't even know her very much."
The hearing of the child support dispute is expected to last four days.

What is it with models and child support? Do they not work much or something and resort to having children with millionaires for an income?
