Sylvester Stallone tipped for 'Soul Survivor' animated web series

is expected to star in an animated web series named Soul Survivor
The project - about a last-of-his kind mercenary - doesn't yet have an online home but is being made by Lionsgate
, who released The Expendables
and will handle the upcoming sequel.
Lionsgate is negotiating with Reliance to broadcast the show, according to The Hollywood Reporter
Aside from their work with actor and filmmaker Stallone, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer revealed on Wednesday (May 2) that the company has partnered on three internet TV shows.
Hulu Plus have bought Canadian drama Endgame
, while Orange is the New Black
creator Jenji Kohan has been sold to Netflix.
A third series, Bite Me
, has been sold to Machinima.
Meanwhile, the star recently revealed that he planning to play action hero Rambo
one last time.
The 65-year-old actor told MTV
that he is working on a script which will see the former Vietnam veteran fighting his final battle.
Stallone hinted that his last showdown could take place in Mexico, where he'd take on drug cartels and added that Rambo's "destiny" was "to go out in a blaze of glory".
Stallone first played Rambo
in 1982 and made three sequels, the last of which was released in 2008.
