The team behind Ice Age Live! A Mammoth Adventure have unveiled a new video about the making of the show.At a press launch last week, the show's co-directors Guy Caron and Michael Curry showed off the mischievous sabre-toothed squirrel Scrat.
Michael Curry, character visualisation designer and co-director, said: "Creating Scrat and the other characters for the Ice Age show has been very challenging for me - a wonderful challenge which I accept and adore.
"Today we're introducing the Scrat character alone... it gives you an example of where we're going with the character design and the character techniques."
He added: "The Scrat character is a good indicator of what we need - a kinetic character with high velocity, incredible, quick reflexes, very able-bodied movements.
"He does acrobatics, he ice skates, he does gymnastics, he does aerial works, so Scrat is a good example of the versatility we need out of our actors, our characters."

Executive vice president of Fox Consumer Products Robert Marick said: "Revealing Scrat - one of the most recognisable characters from the film franchise - was the best way to show the world what's in store for the production, and elusive nut-chasing antics are definitely a part of it.
"In developing Ice Age Live! it was imperative to bring the very best in live entertainment to our franchise fans worldwide.
"Thanks to the costume designs by Michael Curry, these realistic character adaptations are more than we could hope for."
Ice Age Live! A Mammoth Adventure gets its world premiere at Wembley Arena on November 2, with preview shows in Cardiff and Nottingham.
