Cheryl Cole: 'Cher Lloyd is new and needs to learn a lot'

Cheryl Cole has continued her war of words with her former X Factor mentee Cher Lloyd.The Girls Aloud singer reportedly told GQ that Lloyd's quip that she is reliant on Auto-Tune was a "slap in the face".

"She's new," Cole said of Lloyd. "She needs to learn a lot.
"I went through hell to get her on that programme. Everyone says stuff at the beginning of their career that they will learn to regret."
She added: "It's disappointing because I fought for her. Maybe I didn't teach her as well as I thought I had."
After Cole warned her Twitter followers to "be careful who you kick on your way up", Lloyd apologised and said that her original comments were a "little joke".
She later admitted that she was "not too surprised" by Cole's reaction, adding: "I think I really did put my foot in it and now I've realised that what I said was wrong, obviously, and I said sorry."
Cole was famously outspoken at the start of her own career as a member of Girls Aloud and had an ongoing feud with fellow popstar Lily Allen, who she dubbed a "chick with a d**k".
Oh if I'd have known it were a "likes" contest i'd have gotten some folk to come and like my comments...damn nobody told me!
If we look at it like adults, and ask; what logical reasoning can be attributed to the comments in the thread I think the fact that Luke is unable to provide reasonable and catagorical arguements to back up his opinions I'd say he's failed to be honest. It's a bit like me saying Dogs are better than cats....all the people that liked dogs would like my comment, for no reason other than they prefer dogs too. I'm not the world's biggest Cheryl Cole fan, not by a long-shot; I do however think that if youdiscredit her because she uses autotune you have to discredit all the other artists who use it too; if you dislike her because she mimed a performance, you have to discredit all the other acts that have mimed their performances (you can't give Britney a free pass because she wore a better outfit and did a better dance when she mimed); if you disapprove of her being a "media *****" you have to disapprove of every other celeb on the planet that do all they can to stay relevant in the world media....I just think that if you don't like her just coz you don't, don't try to dress it up as not liking her because of A,B or C

Luke Marriott when did Cheyl say anything nasty about anyone's skin colour? Come on she smacked a girl who happened to be black, she didn't smack a girl because she was black....why does everything have to be blown out of proportion? If a person hits me I don't just assume that it's a homophobic attack. I don't think that every black person that takes a hit can assume they're being hit for being black any more than I can assume that any time I take a hit it's bacuase I'm ginger! Not every single crime is a hate crime, if someone broke into Beverley Knight's house she wouldn't call the police claiming that she had suffered a racially agrivated B&E or if Lenny Henry were to have is car stolen that he would call to report it as a racially agrivated GTA

Nobody wins Mag, I don't care how many likes he's got, I still don't agree with what he says. Not perfect either, but I guarantee that the reaction to Cheryl sleeping with Simon would be entirely different - and that's a fact.

Julie Marie Evans the toilet attendant dramatically changed her story when she was offered some £'s by the newspaper, so most of it was fabricated anyway. It was a silly spat, that probably had nothing to do with race. I just can't believe how freely people brand other people as "racist", its so ridiculous.

after reading all the posts and loving the banter, judging by the likes....LUKE MARRIOT WINS, Andy lets face it people have seen through Cheryl Tweedy at last and the comments about Danni sleeping with Simon , who care's.......they had a relationship , get over yourselves must be great being so perfect....Oh the Paragons of Virtue on this page.
