The Iron Man 2 actress spoke of her dislike of some members of the public who decide to take photos of her on their cameraphones while she is out in public.
"I'm constantly surprised by how rude people are," she told the New Review. "You'll be having an intimate dinner with a friend and there's somebody on the table behind with a cameraphone pointing at your face. I think, 'I would never take a photo of someone without asking'."
She added: "I'm not traumatised by it but I find it can bring out the worst in humanity sometimes."
Johansson also explained that she doesn't intend on always taking on "sexy" roles while choosing projects.
"I wanted to be a character actor. Those are the actors I most admire. I think women that are curvy can be pigeonholed in that bombshell thing.
"It's not like I actively look for sexy roles. It's not a requirement that my character be pretty and delicate. I never think about my character being sexy unless that's written in."
Johansson currently stars as Black Widow in superhero movie The Avengers, which opened in the UK on April 26. It will be released in the US on May 4.
She recently revealed that she is hoping for a Bourne-style Black Widow spinoff movie.

Will Putnam yeah u cud put it that way..they r being rude!! but 'constantly surprised?' come on people are like that ever since cameras were invented. Look at the Beatles!!Im just saying she should not be suprised, she's already in the game for too long now to be constantly surprised!!

Its not a question of cinemagoers supporting movie stars' lifestyles, but that's what goes with being a celebrity and if she doesn't like it then why is she still acting? You are told what happens in those situations and you get fans who simply think of film stars as commodities, so they treat them with less respect than non-famous people receive because they know them as an image. She should get a real job and stay anonymous if she doesn't like the unwanted photographs or attention. But why complain, its not all bad, I wish I had her life.

"Pot, kettle, black". Um, In what way? Are you suggesting she has followed members of the public around taking photos?
So according to your logic, my buying milk from the corner shop entitles me to follow its owner round taking photographs without permission?
They don't pay to see her films so that she can sit in cafes. They pay to see her films because they want to watch films, and they get the value of the movie experience in return. Two hours of story. That's the end of the transaction. Beyond that, the fee entitles them to nothing. Where it goes next is none of their business.
If you argue that some of their money goes to supporting her lifestyle, then it is equally true that some of the ticket price goes to paying the wages of the ticket clerk in the cinema. So is it OK to follow him or her with a camera phone too?

Its not like she's not educated enough to know what comes along with fame, these people ultimately pay your wages lady!
