Cheryl Cole on Simon Cowell: 'We're frenemies'

has spoken about her relationship with Simon Cowell, dubbing him her "frenemy".
During an interview on Radio 1 this morning, Chris Moyles brought up Cowell's recent tweet praising Cole's new single
, and asked whether the two are friends.

She responded: "Yes. Well, frenemies."
Asked whether that had always been the case, she said: "Yeah. Nothing's changed there."
Cole remained cagey about the specifics of her relationship with Cowell following her exit from The X Factor USA
, hinting only that they had shared some "extremely interesting" conversations.
Moyles suggested that her being axed from the show after only two auditions was "really weird", to which she murmured: "Agreed."
She continued: "If you're asking have I spoken to him since, many times. If you're asking were they interesting conversations, absolutely.
"There's been a lot of rubbish written about what happened."
Cole also didn't rule out working with Cowell again when asked.
