Halle Berry confirms Olivier Martinez engagement: I swore it off once

Halle Berry has confirmed her engagement to boyfriend Olivier Martinez.

The couple were first rumoured to have become engaged in January, though the Dark Tide actress had refused to comment on the reports.



While Martinez spoke out to solidify the story in March, Berry only publicly acknowledged the engagement on Saturday.

"Who knew? I swore [marriage] off, right?" she told Extra. "Never say never, people!"

Berry was first linked to Martinez in September 2010. She has previously been married to singer Eric Benet and MLB player David Justice.

She recently accepted a role in Brad Anderson's 9/11 thriller The Hive.
