Camila Alves: 'Matthew McConaughey and I already feel married'

has said that she and fiancé Matthew McConaughey already feel like they are married.
The couple announced their engagement
in December 2011 after nearly six years of dating.

In an interview with ET Canada
, Alves confessed that she does not feel much will change for herself and the Lincoln Lawyer
actor once they tie the knot as they have been living together as a couple for several years and have already settled down.
"We've been living a married life for over six years now. We have homes together, we have family together, we have kids, we've built a life together. So we've been living a married life this whole time," the Brazilian model explained.
However, Alves went on to say that while marriage will be great for the pair's two children, 4-year-old Levi and 2-year-old Vida, she has never prioritised tying the knot.
"A lot of people, sometimes they're so stuck on 'I gotta get married, I gotta get married' that they forget that the really important thing is to have a healthy home, a healthy family, a healthy environment for your kids and to have everything going in a good, peaceful way," she added.
In March 2011, McConaughey claimed that he considers Alves to be his "perfect woman"
