Whitney Houston family "saddened" by cause of death finding

Houston was found dead in a Beverly Hilton hotel bathtub at the age of 48 on February 11.
The LA Coroner's Office announced on Thursday (March 22) that Houston died of accidental drowning combined with effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use. The coroner also found that Houston had been a "chronic" cocaine user prior to her death.
Marijuana, Xanax, Flexeril and Benadryl were also found in Houston's system, but the coroner does not believe that they played a role in the 'One Moment in Time' singer's death.
Whitney's sister-in-law Patricia Houston has released a statement on behalf of the Houston family in reaction to the cause of death findings.
"We are saddened to learn of the toxicology results, although we are glad to now have closure," Patricia said.

Patricia had previously told Oprah Winfrey that she would be "kidding herself" to not admit that drugs played a role in Whitney's downfall.
"The handwriting was kind of on the wall," she said of Whitney's last few weeks.
Whitney and Bobby Brown's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown also spoke about her mother's passing during the same interview.
Bobbi Kristina described Whitney as her "best friend" and said that she still feels the singer's presence with her at all times.
"I can hear her voice telling me to keep moving. 'Baby, I gotcha'. She's always with me. I can always feel her with me," Bobbi Kristina said.
It was reported last week that The Bodyguard will be re-released to US cinemas for one night only on March 28 in honour of Whitney's memory.

Sachin Shah i also see nothing wrong with supplying for demand sachin.i get more annoyed with the demand than the supply.in other words the numptys who rush out to buy albums or films by someone who they didnt have anything by prior to their death.oh look whitney houstons died,i must get an album by her cos i've ALWAYS been a huge fan....NOT.i understand sometimes an artists death can make you think oh look ilike them and i never got round to buying anything by them,but not on the scale you always seem to see.personally i would wait a couple month,rather than appear as one of the fakes who rush out to buy.but we cant blame the record companies etc for supplying to demand.

I see nothing wrong with supplying for demand. If anyone has an objection to where the money is going, nobody is forcing them to pay and go see it.

What is interesting to note is now that the cause of the singer’s death has become public various tribes are busily trying to paint a picture they had no idea she was back on drugs (Cissy), that others are to blame (specifically Ray J- Whitney's boyfriend) or that there may have indeed been other mystery players involved, which may or may not be true and which may or may not absolve parties close to home who should of have known or did know or just chose conveniently to step out of the way(or even participate?)....that plus the fact this may ultimately be a clever pr campaign to keep the legend alive?

why don't we raise cash for the wee junkie that died on the streets of Liverpool or Glasgow London or Cardiff rather than some rich **** that threw away every chance she was given her funeral stuck in my throat like the coke that infected her ****** nose.
