Will Ferrell: 'Funny or Die success blows my mind'

has said he's proud of the success of his comedy website Funny or Die.
actor discussed Funny or Die's six years of outrageous sketches and spoofs in a recent interview.
"It's kind of just rolling and chugging right along. For the entire year last year we were in the black, so it's making revenue," Ferrell said of Funny or Die's success, reports Dallas News
. "We have such a huge staff now. We have writers and editors and producers. It's growing and growing, 20 million unique visits per month."
Funny or Die has attracted stars like Michael Cera, Jim Carrey, Mike Tyson and Zach Galifianakis to create comedy videos and also spawned an HBO television spinoff.
Ferrell admitted that the Funny or Die brand's popularity has even taken him by surprise.
"It has a little foothold in the world of comedy on the internet. It's become in Hollywood a bit of a brand name," he explained. "You'll hear studios say, 'Oh, we'd love to do something on Funny or Die, or that's like a Funny or Die skit'. It's becoming part of the vernacular, which is great considering it all started with one silly little video."
Ferrell recently said he's determined to make the upcoming Step Brothers 2 "an anti-sequel"
