Nick Jonas, Delta Goodrem announce split

Nick Jonas and Delta Goodrem have revealed that their relationship is over.

The 27-year-old Australian singer, who started dating 19-year-old musician Jonas in May last year, released a statement through her manager announcing the split.



"Nick and Delta have decided mutually to end their relationship," the statement read. "At this point in time, they are both focused on their careers as they go on different paths.

"They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future."

Jonas and Goodrem began dating shortly after she and Irish singer Brian McFadden called off their engagement.

The pair were even thought to have introduced each other to their parents a few months after they began dating.

Jonas has previously been romantically linked to Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez.

He is currently appearing in Broadway musical How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

Goodrem, who dated McFadden for seven years, has just begun filming as a judge and mentor on the new Australian version of reality show The Voice alongside Seal, Joel Madden and Keith Urban.
