Kate Middleton beats Bruno Mars, Ne-Yo to 'Hat Person of the Year'

Kate Middleton has been named 'Hat Person of the Year' by The Headwear Association.

The Duchess of Cambridge won 91% of the online votes, beating stylist Rachel Zoe, singers Justin Timberlake, Ne-Yo, Bruno Mars and actor Charlie Sheen.



Middleton is the third person to top the Headwear Association's list. Previous winners were Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt.

Last year, Middleton was named one of 'Britain's Best Dressed' in 2011 by Harper's Bazaar.



Madonna, who is promoting new directorial film W.E., recently revealed that she would like to do a film about Middleton and husband Prince William.

"I think maybe it is too soon to make a film about William and Kate but I definitely would if I could wait a decade first," she said.
