Last month, the Bridesmaids actress said that she no longer gets upset when people criticise her physical appearance.
In a new interview on Anderson, McCarthy revealed her weight struggles, explaining: "I've been up and down. I've been much thinner since my second baby. I'm still working on it. It's a work in progress."
She joked: "I hope I wake up at, like, 94 pounds. But I don't think that's going to happen."
However, she said that she "can't put any time" into worrying about working on her weight.
McCarthy has enjoyed success since her role in the summer hit Bridesmaids, while she has also won an Emmy in the 'Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series' category for her work on CBS's Mike & Molly.
She hosted Saturday Night Live in October, and recently was announced as the celebrity spokesperson for Ivory soap.

I think she's absolutely beautiful no matter what size she is. It's not fair really.
