Mila Kunis attends Marine Corps Ball

Mila Kunis has fulfilled her promise to Sergeant Scott Moore by accompanying him to the Marine Corps Ball on Friday.

The actress was asked to attend the event in Greenville, North Carolina via a YouTube video in July.

She attended the ceremony in a fitted black gown, and was reportedly greeted by Moore as she entered the North Carolina Convention Centre.

Captain Scott Sasser told local station WNCT: "She's going to get a chance to learn about the Marine Corps and we're all going to have a great time celebrating the Marine Corps' birthday."

Speaking about the ceremony, Sasser added: "They're celebrating all of our Marine Corps history as well as the accomplishments and sacrifices they make while overseas and celebrating the lives of the fallen marines and sailors they lost while they were over there."

Kunis had said it was an "honour" to be asked to attend the ball earlier this week.

Her Friends with Benefits co-star Justin Timberlake attended the Marine Corps Ball with Corporal Kelsey De Santis last weekend.
