Kate Middleton, Florence Welch top 'Britain's Best Dressed 2011' list

The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton has been named 'Britain's Best Dressed 2011' by Harper's Bazaar.The prestigious fashion magazine's list was chosen by a panel including designers Antonio Beradi and Roksanda Ilincic, milliner Philip Treacy and Harper's Bazaar Editor-at-large Kim Hersov.

Middleton won praise from the judges for her ability to wear designs from top designers and the high street with the same elegance. They commented on her "incredible style evolution that has gripped us all".
The 29-year-old saw off competition from Kate Moss, Florence Welch, Emma Watson, Keira Knightley and Alexa Chung.
Speaking about Middleton's Alexander McQueen wedding dress, Bazaar's Editor, Lucy Yeomans commented: "She gave us the year's - if not the century's - most thrilling fashion moment."
