The Arthur star had been scheduled to perform at the Casino Rama in Ontario on Saturday night, but announced on Twitter he was unable to pass customs.
"Tonight's Casino Rama show postponed. I'm sorry," Brand tweeted. "I can't enter Canada. We must abolish the borders between our nations AND our minds."
Brand's apology follows several tweets earlier in the day confirming he was having issues entering Canada.
"Help! I'm gonna be late for Casino Roma show unless someone can force Canadian customs officials to let us land in Orillia!" Brand wrote. "How do you manipulate customs officials? Wasn't Hitler's father a customs officer? I'm pretty sure he was."
Back in May, Brand was also refused entry into Japan because of a past criminal conviction occuring over ten years ago.
The comedian has openly discussed his past drug and alcohol abuse, but claims to have been completely sober since 2002.
Brand will appear as one of the first guests on The Rosie Show when it premieres on OWN later this month.
Brand was also recently cast in Lamb of God, which will be the directorial debut of Juno writer Diablo Cody.
