Jenner mum 'hopes Lavigne romance lasts'

The former actress revealed that the couple have been together for almost a year, and said that they seem serious about their future.
"She's an amazing young woman and I feel really fortunate that she's in our lives," Thompson told E! Online yesterday regarding Lavigne.
Thompson even hinted that the celebrity couple might begin planning a wedding in the near future, admitting that she hopes that they will be together forever.
"Not yet," she clarified, when pressed about a potential engagement. "I mean they're very young, they both have their careers to concentrate on.
"You never know what will happen but they are well-suited for each other," Thompson added.
Lavigne was previously married to Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley for three years, while Jenner has had a string of high-profile relationships with the likes of Lauren Conrad and Nicole Ritchie.
