Janet Jackson 'chose acting over singing'

has suggested that she has "more of a passion" for acting than she does for her music.
The For Coloured Girls
star told Health
magazine that acting has proved to be her ideal career.
"I have more of a passion for acting than I do singing, because singing comes so much easier to me," she said. "Acting is more of a challenge."
The star continued: "I always say to people, 'I'm really in the wrong business because I don't like being in front of huge crowds, and I don't like it when a lot of people are looking at me'."
Jackson also remarked that she is turned of by society's tendency to judge stars by higher standards than everyone else.
"People tend to put entertainers on pedestals. We're human beings, just like you," Jackson said. "Whether we have money or not, we still have bills to pay, we still have our stresses."For Coloured Girls
was released in US cinemas earlier this month.
