Mischo Erban has broken the Guinness world record for the fastest skateboarder.
The 28-year-old managed to reach a speed of 130kph (80mph) during his attempt, beating the previous record by 16kph.
His achievement was made at an event in Quebec, Canada on a road known locally as the 'landslide'.
The 28-year-old said of his record: "When I sped off I got into an aerodynamic shape and just focused on the yellow line in the middle of the road.
"As I got faster the road started to disappear. There were a few bumps on the road but I just focussed on keeping myself tight.
"It was great fun and I got a real rush from knowing I was travelling at 80mph on a skateboard and watching the side of the road flash past me in my peripheral vision."
He added: "I came to the hill thinking I would be scared but at the end it was just a game. I didn't really even feel challenged."
Erban also laid out plans to eventually double his speed, joking: "I need someone to build the right road first."> Canadian stunt woman sets world record for fastest toilet - video
