Marina and the Diamonds: 'Power & Control' - Single review
Published Jun 26 2012, 10:24 BST | By Robert Copsey

'Power & Control' follows a considerably darker path than her previous hit, blending spacey synths and barely-there beats with a haunting disco chorus courtesy of Swedish House Mafia's Steve Angello. "Think you're funny, think you're smart/ Think you're gonna break my heart," she sings with anguish - though something tells us this man doesn't stand a chance.

This isn't a review, more of a very brief synopsis! This is a great song.

This deserves at least four stars, especially when the disgrace that is Cheryl is getting that! It doesn't make sense.

This review is terrible and pretty much does not talk about the actual tune for half the review. I feel the DS music reviews are really beginning to lose credibility. Justin Bieber Boyfriend, one of the poorer tracks from that album, Cheryl Cole, singing songs she doesn't even know what they are about. All these getting 4/5 stars and now one of Marina's best songs that she has released recently and it still scores less than a lot of other songs that are worse, including Marina herself!
