Justin Bieber: 'Boyfriend' - Single review
Published Apr 10 2012, 14:20 BST | By Robert Copsey

The phase in question is the not-a-boy-not-yet-a-man one. "If I was your boyfriend I would never let you go," he whisper-raps on the intro, before unleashing his more familiar falsetto on quite frankly a killer of a chorus. "I'll keep you on my arm girl, you'll never be alone," he assures over a jam of toe-tapping acoustics, leaving us with an overwhelming urge to teach him another of life's important lessons: the art of playing hard to get.

Listen to 'Boyfriend' below:

It's very edgy and deeper than this normal songs, I actually quite like it, I think it shows his range, and what he can do. I think it's not a bad attempt for a first time trying this type of song, but there's definitely some work that could be done, the worst part of the song happens to be the end of the second verse, where he says 'swaggie'. But overall, pretty strong single, but needs work

Robert Copsey You're a grown man who gave a Justin Bieber song 5 stars. I need say no more.
