One Direction: 'What Makes You Beautiful' - Single review
Published Sep 2 2011, 12:59 BST | By Robert Copsey

Their favourite sort? That endangered breed who are visually stunning but aren't aware of it. "Don't need make-up to cover up/ Being the way that you are is enough," they insist over a toe-tappable melody dangerously similar to Grease classic 'Summer Nights', before launching into a breezy guitar-pop chorus that would probably occupy the intersecting space of a Venn diagram between McFly's 'All About You' and Pink's 'Raise Your Glass'. Like a Forever Friends bear from your high school crush, it's adorable, completely innocent and bound to cause a stir amongst your mates.

Almost a year past, and I can officially say this is one of the worst singles ever!
