Lupe Fiasco: 'The Show Goes On'
Published Feb 21 2011, 17:00 GMT | By Robert Copsey

"Have you ever had the feeling that you was being had?" he asks over a combo of palpitating beats and echoing rock guitars as he contemplates shaking off 'dem haters and reaching for the stars. It's all-too-familiar subject matter for today's rhymesmiths, but as soon as 'Show' reaches its Modest Mouse-sampling chorus - horny, hooky and hip-hoppy all at the same time - you'll surely find it in your heart to forgive him.

Not a massive fan of Lupe but this is a good song. He's underrated so it sadly won't be a major hit.

Wow, Lupe is back. Different rapper, creates catchy, uplifting music. Not afraid to speak his mind. Can't wait for his album lasers next month.

One of the most underrated rappers. His best mainstream track since superstar. With a bit more airplay than it is currently receiving, it may reach the chart heights it deserves. 5 stars.
