Tinchy Stryder: 'In My System'
Published Jul 28 2010, 16:45 BST | By Robert Copsey

From its '90s trance-pop beats to the female vocalist on the chorus, Tinch's latest effort picks up smoothly where last year's 'You're Not Alone' left off. Thankfully, its combination of relatable rhymes and hazy summer synths ensure his formula remains both timely and fresh, resulting in another surefire radio smash. Like a cup of Twinings Lemon & Ginger, 'In My System' is zesty and well-infused - with just the right amount of spice to give you a gentle kick onto the dancefloor.

This song should really be released under the name of the vocalist, followed by "featuring Tinchy Stryder." Same goes for Roll Deep and most of these Grime tracks. It's high time the rappers faced reality that it's the catchy chorus that sells records, and the majority of people put up with the rap and then get hooked by the chorus vocals. Give credit where's it due, not to the rapper who is actually just spoiling a good dance track.

I like it, but, it sounds more like "How did your Grandma sew like that?" and not "How did you grab like soul like that?"
