Cher Lloyd has entered the iTunes top ten in America. The singer's debut US track 'Want U Back' currently sits at number seven on the digital tally, four weeks after its release. The song also climbs eight places on the Billboard Hot 100, from 35 to 27.
Lloyd said: "I'm so excited by everything that is going on!
"I've been touring US radio stations for quite a while now, and it's been fantastic to get out and see so much of America. There's still lots of hard work to do though!"
The star has also confirmed her first US TV performance, performing on America's Got Talent later this month.
A video of the 18-year-old being mobbed by fans in America surfaced online last month.
