StooShe feat. Travis McCoy: 'Love Me'
It's no secret that girl groups have had a tough time in the charts of late. However, amid album flops and newcomers stalling more times than a '93 Ford Fiesta, soulful pop trio Stooshe - consisting of Alexandra, Courtney and Karis - have been gigging, writing and generally creating a bit of a stir since their online hit 'F**k Me' last April. Naturally, it's a cleaned-up version of the song that they're hoping will push them to the big time, but can they reverse the recent chart misfortunes plaguing all-female bands?

With a rampant brass section, ironic ad-libbing and promiscuous lyrics ("You know I don't do c**k"), it's clear from the off that Stooshe are no ordinary girl group. "Milky Bar kid got me melting sugar with that geek chic all the way," Karis purrs with sweet and sultry prowess, bursting with enough innuendo to make even Cupid blush. The result is a breath of fresh air that, in many ways, echos the cheeky nature of the Spice Girls and the sassy vocals of En Vogue - and the industry couldn't need it more.
