will.i.am has admitted that Tulisa
Contostavlos did record his latest single first.
The N-Dubz star was allegedly planning to release 'Scream & Shout' as her third single
, before the rapper took the song and re-recorded it with Britney Spears.
"She [Tulisa] wrote to that song ['Scream & Shout'] before I did - this is the truth," will.i.am told MTV
"But the producers of the beat - two brothers from Belgium called Lazy Jay - didn't want her to have it, so I wrote to it and Britney is the only person I ever had in mind."
According to The Sun
, a source revealed that Contostavlos considered releasing her own version of the track to rival will.i.am and Spears.
"At one point Tulisa was even considering releasing her version to rival 'Scream & Shout', but now it's unlikely to see the light of day unless it gets leaked," they said.
