"I had a meltdown. Not a complete breakdown but I just lost it through the realisation of what was going on in my life. I went a bit mad for a couple of days," Meighan told The Sun.
"I panicked. I've never had that before. And I was at breaking point. But the band were there for me and crying helps.
"I cry a lot and I'm not ashamed to say that but America was hard. It was nine weeks of non-stop touring. But we're doing all right there now, so it was worth it and we're going back there in the autumn."
Meighan branded One Direction "d**ks" after they broke America so quickly while Kasabian endured gruelling tours.
Kasabian have previously said that they are hopeful of cracking the US market.

Why do people act like the armed forces are still drafted in? it isn't compulsory. Everyone appreciates the job they do, but it is a choice to embark on that career.

9 weeks away from ur family and u had a melt down. Try being in the armed forces and in a war zone for 6 months away from ur family

Completely different thing Jacqui -.-
Being in the Armed Forces and comparing that to being on the road for 9 weeks are 2 completely different things, Kasabian had never toured the US for so long (in fact not at all for 5 years!) so it's understandable that you'd be really upset to be away from your new born for so long.
