Madonna's press representative has issued a statement praising her controversial Paris show.According to MTV, Liz Rosenberg claimed that the concert - where Madonna was booed and called a "sl*t" - was planned as a "heartfelt thank you to France".

"Despite a grueling concert tour, [Madonna] desperately wanted to perform for her fans in an intimate setting at the historic Olympia as a means to honour her love for French artists, French cinema and a tribute to France's long history of welcoming and inspiring artists, authors, painters, poets and minorities from other countries over the years," said Rosenberg.
"The show was not billed as her full MDNA concert and tremendous effort was made to keep the ticket prices reasonable ($100/£63.50 for 2,000 floor seats) and keep them strictly for her fans."

Madonna ended the Paris show on Thursday night (July 26) after just 45 minutes. Online footage from the concert shows audience members throwing empty bottles and plastic cups on to the stage and demanding a refund.
"The show cost Madonna close to a million dollars to produce," the spokeswoman continued. "She has done a handful of club dates in the past and they were never more than 45 minutes. And by the way, she put on a fabulous show, which was streamed for millions of fans around the world."

Madonna's 'MDNA' tour has been plagued by controversy. The 'Girl Gone Wild' singer was criticised for baring her breast during a performance in Turkey and is currently facing legal action after including images of the far right conservative party leader in a video backdrop. Front National member Marine Le Pen appeared with a swastika superimposed on her forehead in the interlude footage for track 'Nobody Knows Me'.
"I know that I have made a certain Marine Le Pen very angry with me," the star told the Paris crowd. "It's not my intention to make enemies.
"If we don't learn from history, we will just repeat it. So the next time you want to point the finger at somebody and blame them for the problems in your life, take that finger and point it back at you."

But she is the biggest selling and most succesful female solo artist of all time who has yet again, broke the concert record for highest grossing. Name me 1 act from the last 10 years who will achieve any of that in 22 years time? None will :)

Big madonna fan; but to charge people money for a 45 minute set is taking the piss...! Get on stage, lose the dancers, lights and controversy and just sing for your fans, maybe acapella?!! Of new, old and rarities. THATS WHAT FANS WANT... A true idol to perform intimately to her fans?? Agree?? (Jamie, Hull, UK) x

Madonna top tour which I have seen live are:
Confessions
Re-invention
Sticky and Sweet 2008
Sticky and Sweet 2009
MDNA (least fav)
However, I'm sure Blond ambition tour was her best and would chart higher if I was old enough to see it:(
