According to The Scotsman, Lothian and Borders Police advised Madonna to leave a machine gun and hand pistol out of her stage show in light of the recent shooting in Colorado at a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises.
However, she proceeded to keep the weapons in her act during Saturday's (July 21) concert at the Murrayfield Stadium, brandishing pistols on stage as well as an AK47 assault rifle.
Madonna came under criticism from Amnesty International Scotland director Shabnum Mustapha, who said that the musician should have applied "common sense" given recent events.
The singer is yet to respond to address the criticism over her use of guns in her 'MDNA' tour.
Madonna was recently threatened with a lawsuit by the National Front party in France, after images of party leader Marine Le Pen juxtaposed with a swastika were used in her show.

'releasing' she has a weak live voice?
Whatever fame she has left??
Madonna, love her or loathe her, is still exceptionally popular- you DO NOT sell out stadiums and arenas at her rate without still being an icon.
Having said all this, I hope to God she does tone down her show- there are certain things you just shouldn't stick two fingers up at, the memory of those poor 12 victims being one of them.

Why should she drop the props for her show? Hell no.

Madonna has spent a career being not doing what she told. Why should she change now? Should we ban all TV, film, theatre, art that has guns? Because of one incident? She lives off controversy.

I'm quite shocked, I would've thought she'd done so.
But then again, Lady Gaga did the same with her Fame Ball tour in Manchester; she went ahead with the performance of Alejandro and sparked critiscism; they probably don't want their fans "to miss out"
but it goes to show what they think :\
