Mel C records duet with Emma Bunton for new album 'Stages'

Melanie C has confirmed that her new album will feature a duet with Emma Bunton.The singer has teamed up with her former Spice Girls bandmate for a track which features on her forthcoming album Stages.

"*Drum roll* I am very proud to announce my beautiful friend @EmmaBunton has duetted with me for me new album Stages #babyandsporty!!" Mel C tweeted.
"Me and @EmmaBunton and have recorded the fantastic,'I know him so well' Singing together again is amazing and emotional. Love you baby! x (sic)."
Mel C will release Stages as her sixth solo studio album this September.
According to an official announcement on her website, the record "features a collection of songs from the theatre that have been important to Melanie at various stages of her life".
Meanwhile, Melanie C and Bunton recently reunited with fellow Spice Girls Melanie B, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham for the launch of the new musical Viva Forever!

I think Mel C was definitely one of the stronger singers in the Spice Girls, sadly as it goes usually goes with these pop groups it's not always the most talented ones who get the exposure.

How strange - on the night I saw it she got the most cheers and 3 standing ovations.. Ive seen her live 4 times and she was great then. u must have caught her on a very off day.

Great now we have another Elaine Paige, I hope Miss Mel can sing with all the gravitas and skill off such a talened lady (another thing that Mel is missing) also let's hope her singing has improved since Miss Johnson in Blood Brothers where she sang like an alley cat (before you say anything I saw it and she was attrocious )to such an extent that the gubby girl from Loose Women was a hell off a lot better - I watch a lot of stage musicals and travelled from edinburght to see Mel C and feel very cheated
