Paris Hilton on DJ debut: 'It felt good to control the party'

Paris Hilton has said that she enjoyed deejaying at the Pop Music Festival in Brazil.

The socialite heiress made her DJ debut at the music festival on Saturday (June 23), debuting her new single 'Last Night' and playing big hits from different artists.



"I had so much fun deejaying at the Pop Music Festival," Hilton told E!. "I could not have been happier with the crowd's reaction to my set. It felt so good to be in control of the party and see everyone dancing!"

To prepare for her debut, Hilton worked with Black Eyed Peas producer DJ Poet in the studio, as well as attending shows around the world with her music collaborator Afrojack, who is said to be her boyfriend.

Although Hilton is expanding her music career, she doesn't plan on leaving her other businesses, including her fragrance empire reportedly worth $1.5 billion.

She shared: "My brand and stores and products will always be my business and that won't change, but music is my personal passion.

"Being a DJ you get to create the party and bring happiness to so many people with your music. For me this is something I am very excited about."
