Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Melanie C, Melanie B and Geri Halliwell have all invested in the production along with former manager Simon Fuller and hope to take the show international, reports The Mirror.
"London is a great starting point. We're all so proud to be British. We're hopeful this will be the start of something big," Beckham said at the launch.
Mel C added: "If we can fly the flag for Britain, we'd love that – to do a Mamma Mia! It would be nice if it made us a few quid too!"
No new songs have been written for the musical, but an accompanying soundtrack will feature many of the group's hits and B-sides.
Viva Forever! previews from November 27 and officially opens on December 11. Tickets for the shows are on sale now.

wow... not even £5m for doing nowt apart from turn up for a photo shoot can make her smile (although apparently just talking about it makes her smile according to the video!) She doesn't deserve anything in that case!!

£5 million each eh!! That would explain how the 'powers that be' managed to get them all in the same room, despite Victoria looking as though she still has one leg on the plane back home!! Smile pet.....you've a lot to be grateful for!!

She always looks like a right miserable old sow. I think it is the first picture of her not wearing sun glasses so that is a first! The smile will arrive one day!

How is running a successful fashion line for the last 3 years not regarded as making your own money
£15 Million of sales in a quarter.... pretty good for 3 months!
