Adam Lambert and Britney Spears top Billboard's 'Sexiest' list

Britney Spears and Adam Lambert have been crowned Billboard's sexiest woman and man in music.

The pop singers beat out hundreds of other artists in a reader poll calling for the hottest artists working in music today.



Spears, who is currently acting as a judge on the upcoming season of The X Factor USA, earned 45% of the vote from readers for the 'Sexiest Woman in Music' title.

Trailing behind her on the top ten list are Lady Gaga at number 2 with 12% of the vote, followed by Beyoncé at number 3 with 8%.

Also present in the top ten were American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj and country singer Taylor Swift.



Former American Idol contestant Lambert won 26% of the reader vote to earn the publication's 'Sexiest Man in Music' title.

Also making it on the list were The Voice's Adam Levine in the number 2 position, earning 12% in votes, followed by Justin Bieber (10%), and Enrique Iglesias (9.75%).

R&B and hip-hop artists Chris Brown, Usher, and Drake also appeared in the top ten, with each collecting 5% or less in votes.
