"This makes me sound like a lassy, but when this came out, it made me cry," Labrinth said.
"The film pulled at my heartstrings, okay!"
Another of his selections was Nirvana's breakthrough hit 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'.
"One of the first friends I ever made in school introduced me to grunge, so it reminds me of those days," he said.
"I was also in a rap group called Dynamic and we had our own sell-out concert in the school auditorium. We were 15, writing our own raps and kids were queuing out the door. It was crazy."

"But I only found out recently that Uncle Si (Simon Cowell) released the song! That's sick!!"
The playlist was rounded out by 'I'll Take You There' from The Staple Singers, 'Rhythm Is Love' by Keziah Jones and 'Controversy' by Prince.
