Guns N' Roses have allegedly banned fans wearing Slash T-shirts from entering their UK shows.NME reports that security staff at London's O2 arena were told to ask fans wearing shirts featuring the band's ex-guitarist to remove them before entering, and if they refused to do so, to then turn them away.

When pressed as to whether this included fans sitting at the back of the arena that could not be seen from the stage, a security guard replied: "This is what we were told."
When a fan who was forced to remove his shirt was asked why he thought the band had requested this, he said he believed that "if [frontman Axl Rose] saw me wearing the shirt, he might have stormed off stage".
Rose has previously referred to his ex-bandmate as a "cancer better removed", and Slash has claimed that Rose "hates his guts".
Guns N' Roses have already run into controversy on this UK tour for their late arrivals to the stage, with one Manchester gig finishing at 2.15am.

My friend was forced to turn his t shirt inside out by security at the Liverpool gig because it had slash on it.

If there is a dress code; it should really be printed clearly on tickets or made clear at point of sale. This is probably not lawful.

An artist can request whatever they like at a venue, I was speaking to security at a La Roux gig (They wanted everyone to have special wristbands) which got the convo started...

I don't know if this is true but it has to be said that the gig was a good one. I was there on the Thursday night and, despite people who couldn't have known the set time booing because they thought he was late, they were pretty much on schedule. They played from 10.30pm to 1.30am.
I would definitely go and see them again. I may be tempted to wear a Slash t-shirt though!
