Mel C announces new EP 'The Night'

Mel C has announced plans to release a new EP.

The singer has teamed up with DJ Jodie Harsh for The Night, a three-track collection due to be released through her own label Red Girl Records.



The mini-album was produced by Harsh and co-written by Mel C and will be available to download from May 13.

The new tracks include dance-orientated numbers 'Set You Free' and 'Sunrise', along with mid-tempo song 'Walk Away' to close the collection.

The songs were recorded at the same time as Mel C's 2011 album The Sea, but were not included due to the personal and intimate tone of the LP.

Mel C recently denied reports that she has fallen out with Mel B over the upcoming Spice Girls musical.
