Nicki Minaj returns to Twitter

Nicki Minaj has returned to Twitter.

The 'Beez in the Trap' rapper returned to the social networking site on Tuesday, after an eight-day hiatus.

Minaj had deleted her account on April 15 after she became angered by a fan who leaked several of her new songs online, writing: "Like seriously. its but so much a person can take. Good f***ing bye."

She has since resurrected her old @NickiMinaj handle but has lost millions of followers following her deletion, going from over 11 million down to roughly 438,000 on Tuesday afternoon.

Minaj has not yet tweeted since returning to the microblogging site.

Earlier this week, Minaj admitted that she was enjoying life without Twitter but felt bad for her fans who used the site to connect with her.
