has revealed that the happiest moments in her life come when she is on stage with the Scissor Sisters.
The singer, who recently appeared on The Voice
UK as Jessie J's guest mentor
, told Bang Showbiz
that while she loves her home life with husband Seth Kirby, performing gives her the most pleasure.
"There is a lot of work involved with touring and it's difficult being away from home. I do really enjoy being at home. I'm a gardener and I love being in the garden. It's tough to leave," Matronic said. "It's so lovely to have someone at home who keeps you grounded."
However, she added: "On the other hand, there is nowhere I would rather be than on the stage!"
The vocalist also suggested that it is the bond she shares with fellow Scissor Sisters band members - Jake Shears, Babydaddy, Del Marquis and Randy Real - that drives her back to touring.
"As a band, we're so close and that definitely helps. We're there for each other when the s**t hits the fan, as it were, and when the chips are down," she added.
Matronic also backed Jessie J for success stateside, saying: "After meeting her, I was so impressed. She is the real deal, amazing, and you have to admire her so much."> Simon Cowell has sensitivity chip missing, says Voice Ana Matronic
