Olly Murs: 'I hope to convert One Direction fans on US tour'

Olly Murs has revealed that he hopes to convert some of One Direction's US fans.The 'Heart Skips a Beat' singer will support the British boyband during their upcoming tour of North America from May 29.

"One Direction have been brilliant in allowing me to go on tour with them and I get on really well with the guys so yeah, it's going to be exciting," he told MTV News.
"They are causing loads of hype and hysteria everywhere they go so to be invited along it's going to be fun."
He added: "Hopefully I can convert them [their fans] into the Murs army and the Ollyettes so if they can be converted, that will be great."
Asked if he hopes to copy One Direction's success, he said: "There's always room for everyone, but for me, America is just a good challenge and fingers crossed the song does well and if it does, it will be amazing!"
Olly Murs recently confirmed that he will return as co-host of The Xtra Factor with Caroline Flack later this year.

Sickening really. "OD allowed me" "Maybe I can convert OD fans". How about not tie yourself to OD and do your own thing Olly? You're so much better than this. The 12 year olds will just scream you of stage as a creepy old man. If they wanted musicians with actual talent they wouldn't be OD fans.

As I've continually said, he has adopted the right approach with all the countries he's been to so far with the latest album, which is a mark of how grounded he is...even if this doesn't work out for whatever reason he's already still got his massive following back here and in Europe - Germany and Switzerland in particularly absolutely love him!
